Minimal Intervention
Vanilla Anarchy Survival is meant to feel like a true vanilla-anarchy server: no gameplay rulebook, no protected world, and almost no staff interference — but still a vanilla-client standard.
No Gameplay Rulebook
There is no normal list of gameplay rules here. The point is that players are free to act on the world instead of playing inside a managed theme-park server.
Vanilla World
The world is not segmented into protected regions or curated lanes of play. It is a single persistent survival world where what happens in the terrain is decided by players.
Griefing, Raiding, PvP
Yes, all of that is part of the server. Bases can be found, loot can be taken, players can fight anywhere, and the world can be changed by whoever reaches it first.
Vanilla Client Standard
The anarchy is in the world, not in hacked clients. Join on a normal 1.8.9 client. Cheat clients, combat cheats, and movement cheats are not part of the server.
No Safety Net
There are no land claims, no rollback expectation, no guaranteed recovery after loss, and no promise that a build will stay hidden or intact once other players find it.
Rare Staff Intervention
Staff stepping in should be rare. Intervention is reserved for things that target the service itself, rely on cheat-client abuse, spill into real-world harm, or make the server impossible to keep online.
Where Staff Still Step In
This is still an anarchy server. Staff only steps in when something stops being ordinary in-game conflict and starts threatening the server, the vanilla-client standard, or the people around it.
Server Integrity, Cheat Clients, and Real-World Harm
Vanilla Anarchy Survival does not operate like a standard moderated SMP. Staff stays out of ordinary conflict, but if something directly attacks the server itself, intentionally degrades uptime, uses cheat clients to force client-side advantages into the server, abuses infrastructure or payments, or pushes conflict out of the game and into real life, staff may remove it and act fast.
Ordinary Anarchy Stays Ordinary
In normal gameplay terms, griefing, raiding, trapping, killing, stealing, betrayal, and building in the wild are all part of the server. Do not expect protection, restoration, or hand-holding. If you want a managed world, this is not that kind of server.
Vanilla Anarchy Survival is meant to be a world players shape for themselves. The world stays open, the service stays protected, and the terrain is left to the people willing to survive in it.
